Article 1 (Scope of Personal Information Collection and Purpose of Processing Personal Information) 
① Scope of personal information collected  
Onyang Hot Spring Hotel collects personal information of customers using legitimate and fair means. Personal information collected is limited to the minimum range needed for us to provide services.   .

※ Onyang Hot Spring Hotel does not collect sensitive information, such as information on ideology, belief, admission to or withdrawal from a trade union or political party, political opinions, health and sexual life, and personally identifiable information, unless such collection is permitted under applicable laws or consent is obtained from data subjects.

② Purpose of processing personal information    
Onyang Hot Spring Hotel processes personal information for the purposes listed below. Processed personal information will not be used for any purpose other than the following, and if such a purpose changes, we will take necessary measures, such as obtaining separate consent in accordance with Article 18 of the Personal Information Protection Act.  .

Article 2 (Purpose of Collecting and Using Personal Information)  
Onyang Hot Spring Hotel collects personal information for the following purposes:

Classification: Online booking  
Required Fields: Name, mobile phone number, room type, number of persons, check-in/check-out dates   
          Fields above are used to confirm reservations of customers.

※ Onyang Hot Spring Hotel has a procedure allowing the user to choose between “I agree” and “I don’t agree” for each information on the personal information collection and use consent form. Please note that you cannot book a room if you check “I don’t agree.”

Article 3 (Personal Information Retention and Processing Period)   
①	Onyang Hot Spring Hotel processes and retains personal information for the purpose of using the information only for a period permitted under the law or agreed by data subjects at the time of collecting their personal information.     
②	The personal information processing and retention period agreed by data subjects at the time of their information collection is five (5) years.  
③	The personal information processing and retention period as prescribed by the law is as follows:   
Information retained: Internet log-records, data on tracing a location of connectors      
Retention period: 12 months  
Applicable law: The Protection of Communications Secrets Act

Article 4 (Procedure and Methods of Personal Information Destruction)  
①	Onyang Hot Spring Hotel destroys personal information immediately when the information becomes unnecessary after the retention period has expired and the purpose of its processing has been achieved. Our procedure and methods of personal information destruction are as follows:

1. Destruction procedure  
Personal information is deleted or destroyed when its retention period agreed by data subjects has expired or its processing purpose has been achieved, or when its statutory retention period has expired.

2. Destruction period  
Upon expiration of the retention period, personal information of customers is destroyed within five (5) days from the expiration date. When it becomes unnecessary to retain personal information due to the achievement of the purpose of its processing, discontinuation of related services, closure of business and other reasons, the information is destroyed within five (5) days from the date when the processing of personal information is deemed unnecessary.

3. Destruction methods  
Personal information stored in electronic files is deleted using technical methods that prevent their restoration. Personal information recorded or printed on paper is destroyed with a paper shredder or incinerator.

Article 5 (Protection of Personal Information of Children under the Age of 14)  
Onyang Hot Spring Hotel does not collect personal information of children under the age of 14.

Article 6 (Provision of Personal Information to a Third Party)  
1.	Onyang Hot Spring Hotel does not provide personal information of users externally without their consent except under the following circumstances:

1.	When special provisions exist in other laws or it is unavoidable to comply with the law;  
2.	When it is deemed necessary explicitly for the protection, from impending danger, of life, body or economic profits of the data subject or third party in case that the data subject or his/her legal representative is not in a position to express intention, or prior consent cannot be obtained owing to unknown addresses; or   
3.	When required by law or when requested by an investigation agency for the investigation purpose through statutory procedures and methods

2.	When there is a change in third parties or when we need to provide personal information of users other than the information for which we obtained consent, we will make sure to do so by obtaining separate consent of users.

Article 7 (Rights of Users and Their Legal Representatives and the Methods of Exercising Those Rights)  
①	A user and his/her legal representative can view and modify his/her registered personal information at any time and may request withdrawal of consent or membership. In this case, however, it may become difficult to use some or all of the services.     
②	If you contact us through our website, our Privacy Officer or related department in writing or by phone or email, we will immediately take necessary measures.  
③	Onyang Hot Spring Hotel may refuse the user’s request for viewing, modification or deletion of personal information, in part or in whole, in the following cases:     .
1. When it is prohibited or limited under the law; or  
2. When it is likely to cause harm to the life or body of any other person, or unfairly damages the property and other profits of any other person.     
④	When you request that errors in your personal information be corrected, we will not use or provide the personal information to a third party until such corrections are completed. Also, if we have already provided the incorrect information to a third party, we will immediately notify the third party of the corrections made.   
⑤	We handle personal information deleted or whose processing is suspended at the request of the user or his/her legal representative as prescribed in Article 3 “Personal Information Retention and Processing Period” and ensure that the information cannot be viewed or used for other purposes.   
⑥	Users are advised to correctly enter their latest personal information. Users are responsible for any accident arising from their input of incorrect data and may be deprived of their user rights if they enter false information, such as unauthorized use of another person’s information.   
⑦	While you have the right to have your personal information protected, you also have the obligation not to infringe on other persons’ information. Please be careful not to get your personal information leaked or damage personal information of others. If you do not fulfill this responsibility and damage the information or dignity of others, you may be punished by applicable laws.

Article 8 (Collection of Personal Information Using Cookies)  
Our website (www.onyanghotel.co.kr) does not use cookies that store and find information of customers who access our website.

Article 9 (Installation and Operation of an Automatic Collection Tool of Personal Information and the Denial Thereof)   
① Protective measures to safeguard personal information  
Onyang Hot Spring Hotel is putting in place the following managerial, technical and physical safeguards so that personal information is not lost, stolen, divulged, altered or damaged when processed:    
1.	Managerial safeguards: Establishing, abiding by and supervising company regulations for the protection of personal information, regular training, etc.  
2.	Technical safeguards: Managing access rights to personal information processing system, etc., installing access control system, encrypting personally identifiable information, etc., installing security programs, etc.    
3.	Physical safeguards: Controlling access to computer rooms, archives, etc. and installing access certification and monitoring system, etc.

② Refusal of unauthorized collection of emails  
Onyang Hot Spring Hotel refuses unauthorized collection of posted email addresses using email collection programs or other technical tools. Any violation may be subject to punishment under the Act on Promotion of Information and Communications Network Utilization and Information Protection, etc.  .

①	Data subjects can contact our Privacy Officer or related department for inquiries about any personal information, complaints handling or remedies in relation to their use of our services (or business). We will immediately respond to their inquiries.

②	Data subjects can contact the agencies listed below for inquiries about remedies or consultation in relation to privacy infringements. These agencies are not related to Onyang Hot Spring Hotel, so data subjects are advised to use these agencies when they are not satisfied with the outcome of our handling of their complaints or our remedies, or when they need to seek more help.
